Since 1990, the Indian Theological Seminary (ITS) trains Indian nationals to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through theological academia and church planting experience. To reach the countless millions who have not heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ, many more students must be prepared for service. ITS offers:
• Diploma in Theology (2 yrs) • Bachelor of Theology (3 yrs)
• Bachelor of Divinity (4 or 5 yrs) • Master of Divinity (2 or 3 yrs)
Indian nationals are uniquely equipped to evangelize India’s mission
field as they understand & are accepted in the culture, speak native languages, and serve the Lord for a fraction (usually less than 5%) of the cost of western missionaries.
Most of GGM churches were planted and nourished by ITS students. We must continue to prepare and send laborers to the field but students called to serve God often lack financial resources for theological training and require assistance to pay the $1,500/year tuition..
Students engage in morning & evening family prayer, Sunday evening community fellowship, monthly fasting prayer & spiritual life conferences. A 24 hr chain of prayer is conducted monthly to pray for our blessings and needs. Friday chapel service is Mission Day with a monthly speaker from another mission. The faculty and students pray for the speaker's ministry and missions worldwide.
Before graduation, students must establish a congregation, complete an internship & participate in Gospel Campaigns (camps at rural villages). The fruit of their labor is seen at the annual Children's Rally when 800+ children are bused to GGM's main campus for a day of teaching & fellowship.
Students must prove financial need with a family income certificate. Work-aid and merit scholarships are available as are church scholarships for students willing to work for GGM after school.
