Practical Work and Church Planting Indian Theological Seminary emphasizes practical ministerial exposure. Students are pioneers in Gilgal Gospel Mission's church planting centers to reach the unevangelized with the gospel as they visit rural villages on weekends. Students must establish a congregation in their assigned village before graduation and complete a one month practical ministry internship assigned by ITS each summer. Students and faculty participate in annual Gospel Campaigns (camps at rural villages). A student will not graduate without completing the practical work assignments. Each year, the fruit of their labour is seen at the annual Children's Rally. Children from ministry centers come to the Seminary campus for a day of fellowship, fun and encouragement.
